IAIRA® represents the independent recording industry through out the world. Members consist of recording artists, record labels and distributors, songwriters, and others who create more than 70% of all sound recordings produced and sold in the world. IAIRA® recognizes and honors artistic achievement, technical proficiency, and overall excellence in sound recording.

IAIRA® extensively researches various credible reporting charts and certifies the chart position attained by a specific work. IAIRA® certification is issued without regard to advertisement, political prowess, subjective interpretation, or personal opinion.

IAIRA® is dedicated to sharing the art and creativity of the Independent Recording Arts Worldwide

IAIRA Membership is available in two categories: There is No Cost to become an IAIRA Member.

Affiliate Membership: This membership is available to individuals who are directly and substantially involved in the Recording Arts Industry but it is not their primary profession.

Professional Membership: This membership is available to those individuals who work full-time and earn their income primarily from the Recording Arts Industry. Benefits include all those available to Basic Members plus additional resources and listing in the IAIRA directory.

C E R T I F I C A T I O N

As an Independent Third Party Verification source, IAIRA Certification helps solidify the achievement of Recording Artists by providing unbiased documentation of significant chart position. Through its extensive research, IAIRA verifies the chart position of recorded works and issues a specific release a unique CIN (Certification ID Number). Once the CIN is issued, the work becomes eligible for certification.
